Sunrise Center Therapeutic has been helping children and adults with physical and mental challenges for decades to reach levels of performance that were not believed possible.
Karen Hemza, owner of Sunrise Farms, Inc. and Therapeutic Riding instructor maintains therapy trained horses and is certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, (PATH Intl).
Trained therapy horses and PATH Intl. certified instructors lead the riders through exercises that encourage strengthening of deteriorated muscles and relax overly stressed ones using the similarity of the horses gait to that of the human rider.
