Owner and trainer Karen Hemza specializes in training hunters, jumpers and equitation horses for the national show ring. We travel to USEF “A” and “B” rated local, regional and national shows. Karen competes on client horses in the hunter and jumper rings. She can give your horse the show experience required for you to have a safe and comfortable competition ride. As a successful Grand Prix rider, Karen has the expertise to start a young horse or compete at the highest levels.
Karen is a sensitive trainer and rider who will put the welfare of your horse first. Sunrise Farms is committed to giving each horse a positive and encouraging experience. Building confidence and trust are at the foundation of our training program.

Your level of showing is based on your goals and aspirations. This could be having fun at local shows, going to an occasional regional show, or showing at “A” rated competitions.
